SBS’s “Cheer Up” has released a new behind-the-scenes video filled to the brim with extra content for viewers!

“Cheer Up” is a campus mystery rom-com about a college cheer squad whose glory days are long gone and is now on the verge of falling apart. Han Ji Hyun stars as Do Hae Yi, a rookie member of Yonhee University’s cheer squad Theia, who has a cheerful personality despite facing difficult circumstances at home. Bae In Hyuk stars as Theia’s often misunderstood captain Park Jung Woo, who is a firm stickler for the rules but is also a romantic at heart.

Most of the new behind-the-scenes video takes place at an old abandoned hospital, which definitely had a creepy vibe even though there were lots of crew members there. Viewers get to watch Han Ji Hyun’s realistic performance as her character deals with the terror and panic that comes with being locked inside a spooky old hospital.

In another part of the building, Bae In Hyuk and Kim Hyun Jin get their daily dose of cardio as they race through the halls, using the time between shots to act cute with one another and their other co-stars.

The last scene documented in the behind-the-scenes video is one where Park Jung Woo brings Do Hae Yi a thoughtful gift of hot tea, and the two sit together on a bench outside to have a chat. It’s adorable how Bae In Hyuk gets so shy during these scenes, and it’s even more entertaining to see how these two try their hardest to fluster one another.

Bae In Hyuk also confesses that he is very much not ready for the next scene, which involves him diving into a pool. Poor Bae In Hyuk!
