VERIVERY’s Hoyoung To Take Break From Activities For Health Reasons

 

VERIVERY’s member Hoyoung will be taking a break from his promotional activities due to health concerns.

On October 30, VERIVERY’s agency Jellyfish Entertainment released the following statement explaining Hoyoung’s current health status and the subsequent decisions that were made:

"Hello.

This is Jellyfish Entertainment.

This is an announcement regarding VERIVERY’s member Hoyoung and his future activities.

Hoyoung had recently visited the hospital due to a deterioration in his psychological well-being. Following medical advice to take ample time to rest and recuperate, he has decided to take a temporary hiatus and focus on his recovery after much discussion and self-reflection.

As such, all official VERIVERY schedules from today onwards will be attended by the remaining 4 members.

We will be sure to follow up with another announcement once Hoyoung finds himself fit to resume schedules again.

We ask for the understanding of all fans regarding the decision made to prioritize the artist’s health and recuperation.

We will ensure that we dedicate ourselves to making Hoyoung’s recovery our utmost priority.
