Update: Gong Yoo In Talks Along With Kim Tae Ri For New Drama Penned By Kim Eun Hee

Gong Yoo may be working with Kim Tae Ri in a new drama!

On December 29, industry representatives reported that Gong Yoo received an offer to star in “The Devil” (working title) by writer Kim Eun Hee and is currently discussing it.

In response to the report, a source from his agency Management SOOP clarified, “It’s true that he received an offer [to star in] ‘The Devil.’ It’s one of the projects he’s reviewing.”

Earlier on the same day, it was revealed that Kim Tae Ri is also in talks to appear in the drama.

“Devil” is aiming to air via SBS in 2022.

Kim Tae Ri is working on selecting her next drama!

On December 29, it was reported that the actress is in talks to appear in writer Kim Eun Hee’s new SBS drama “The Devil” (working title).

In response to the report, her agency Management mmm commented, [“The Devil”] is one of the projects she got offers for. Nothing has been decided yet.”

Previously at the “2022 SBS Showcase,” SBS announced that Kim Eun Hee, the writer behind dramas like “Signal,” Netflix’s “Kingdom” series, and most recently “Jirisan,” would be returning to SBS next year with a new project. Her last drama at SBS was Son Hyun Joo and Park Yoochun’s “Three Days” in 2014. She had previously written the SBS dramas “Sign” and “Phantom.” In recent years, she has worked for tvN (“Signal,” “Jirisan”) and Netflix (the “Kingdom” series).

Kim Tae Ri is currently working on her new drama “Twenty-Five Twenty-One” (literal translation), which will premiere on February 12, 2022, after the end of the currently airing “Bulgasal.” It will air at 9 p.m. KST.
