SBS’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Through the Darkness” has released its main posters!

Set in the late 1990s, “Through the Darkness” is a drama based on the first criminal profiler in South Korea, who looked into the hearts of serial killers at a time when random, motiveless murders were on the rise.

Kim Nam Gil plays Song Ha Young and Jin Sun Kyu plays Guk Young Soo, two men who take on the new job of criminal profiling in order to track down serial killers and psychopaths.

In the newly released poster, the two leads are sitting across from each other in an interrogation room. In another poster, Kim Nam Gil and Jin Sun Kyu are walking in the dark, capturing the highly-anticipated suspense that the previous stills and posters have previewed.

The two characters will portray the development of criminal profiling in Korea as they work hard to read the minds of serial killers and track them down. The intensity in their eyes reflects on their determination to chase the killers down.

Certain parts of the posters seem to be symbolic, raising curiosity about the meaning behind them. The posters are full of darkness, which seems to symbolize the evil hearts of the criminals that the two leads fiercely look into. They pierce through the darkness as they try to reveal the true intentions of the killers.
