On January 20, the romance drama starring Kim Young Dae and Park Ju Hyun enjoyed a significant increase in viewership ahead of its series finale. With just one episode left to go, “The Forbidden Marriage” jumped a full percentage point to an average nationwide rating of 4.8 percent, falling just short of its all-time high of 4.9 percent.

Meanwhile, SBS’s “Payback” remained first place in its time slot with an average nationwide rating of 9.5 percent.
