“The Crowned Clown” Finale Achieves Its Highest Ratings Yet

tvN’s hit drama “The Crowned Clown” has ended with a bang!

According to Nielsen Korea, the highly-anticipated March 4 finale of the historical drama achieved the drama’s highest viewership ratings yet, scoring an average of 10.9 percent nationwide and peaking at 12.8 percent.
Not only was “The Crowned Clown” the most-watched drama of the night, but it also took first place among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 4.5 percent and a peak of 5.4 percent.
Meanwhile, SBS’s historical drama “Haechi” pulled ahead of KBS 2TV’s “My Lawyer, Mr. Joe 2” to become the most-watched public broadcast network drama in its time slot. The March 4 episode of “Haechi” scored average nationwide ratings of 4.9 percent during its first half and 6.4 percent during its second, while “My Lawyer, Mr. Joe 2” came in second place with average ratings of 4.3 percent and 5.9 percent for the night.
JTBC’s time-travel drama “Radiant” scored an average viewership rating of 6.1 percent nationwide for the night, while MBC’s “The Item” trailed with average ratings of 2.6 percent and 3.4 percent for its two parts.
