Shaun Tam is a Hongkongese actor and host. In his early career, he primarily developed his career in mainland China and the film industry. In recent years, he returned to Hong Kong to take care of and accompany his family. He is currently a contracted artist under TVB. At the 2021 TVB Anniversary Awards, he won the "Best Actor" and "TVB Malaysia's Favorite Actor" awards for his performance in the drama series "Death by Zero."

Tam attended St. Joseph's College, an English-medium school, and later went to Ridley College, a private school in Toronto, Canada. He dropped out of university in his second year, majoring in advertising.

In 2000, he joined Sun Entertainment Culture. His first film was "La Brassiere." In 2016, Shaun Tam officially signed with TVB.

In 2021, he won the "Best Actor" and "TVB Malaysia's Favorite Actor" awards at the TVB Anniversary Awards 2021 for his role in the drama "Death by Zero."

His father is Hongkongese actor Ti Lung, and his mother is the artist Tao Min Ming. His cousins include artists Sharen Tang, Lam Hai Feng, and Lam Xiao Feng. He is married to Chinese actress Yan Ren Ci, and they have a son and a daughter.
