Upcoming sci-fi film “Alien” has released new stills!

“Alien” is a two-part sci-fi film about the happenings that occur when a mysterious time portal opens and connects Taoists from the Goryeo Dynasty searching for a legendary sword with people in 2022 chasing down an alien prisoner that’s been imprisoned in a human’s body.

The film is directed by Choi Dong Hoon and boasts a star-studded cast, including Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, So Ji Sub, Honey Lee, Yeom Jung Ah, Jo Woo Jin, Kim Eui Sung, Shin Jung Geun, and Lee Si Hoon.

Ryu Jun Yeol stars as Taoist Moo Reuk, Kim Woo Bin as Guard, the escort of alien prisoners, and Kim Tae Ri as Lee Ahn, a woman who can shoot thunder.

So Ji Sub plays detective Moon Do Seok whom aliens chase for no reason, and Yeom Jung Ah and Jo Woo Jin play the two gods of Samgak Mountain Heuk Seol and Chung Woon. Kim Eui Sung takes on the role of the mysterious masked man Ja Jang who is after the legendary sword, while Honey Lee portrays Min Gae In, who is curious about Guard’s true identity. Shin Jung Geun and Lee Si Hoon turn into Woo Wang and Jwa Wang, the cats who live inside Moo Reuk’s fan.

On June 22, the film released 12 new stills that amp up anticipation for the riveting plot. Not only do they show the differences between the Goryeo Dynasty and modern life, but they also depict the unique characters with individual personalities.

In a couple photos, Moo Reuk shows his eccentric and free-spirited energy. On the other hand, Kim Woo Bin exudes completely different vibes as Guard, who goes through a complicated process to fulfill his mission. More photos show Lee Ahn’s overflowing charisma, increasing anticipation for what role she will play in this journey.

So Ji Sub perfectly depicts how Moon Do Seok’s life takes a chaotic turn after becoming the target of aliens for unknown reasons, and Yeom Jung Ah and Jo Woo Jin make the perfect duo as they flawlessly turn into Heuk Seol and Chung Woon, respectively. Fans are also given a closer look at the mysterious Ja Jang, who emits a cool aura and forms a tense atmosphere.
