Meanwhile, Sa-ra tries her best to prepare herself for what will come next and focuses on improving her defence skills. While she gets into fighting events in prison, she is shocked when one day she is informed to attend her mother’s funeral.

Sa-ra is shocked and finds out that the case has been ruled out as a suicide as Jung-sook herself jumped from the building of her father’s shut-down factory. Sa-ra cannot stop blaming herself for this incident and is even more angered when she spots Yul-seong at Jung-sook’s funeral. She ends up arguing with him, making him break all their connections.

Queen of Divorce Episode 2 Review

A little bit of romance is needed in every Kdrama and with actors like Lee Ji-ah and Kang Ki-young playing the lead role, there is no way to measure out excitement. This episode had more insight into Ji-koon, however, the focus never left Sa-ra which only made it better.

Meanwhile, Sa-ra may have been doubtful about her mother’s death, however, seeing her blind trust in Yul-seong that he wouldn’t go this far is quite saddening. Similarly, Ji-koon is also facing challenges as he is wrapped up in the games of others who want him out of the game as soon as possible. But seeing Kang Ki-young playing this role so well has got us all satisfied for sure.
