Actress Jang Na-ra and actor Kim Nam-gil have denied a rumor they will marry in November, with Jang saying on Instagram she felt "lampooned."

Jang, 38, said online that her post following the rumor was "neither explanation nor excuse" and that she was feeling "despondent."

"Somebody's thoughtless doodle overnight became a fact and was spread publicly next morning," Jang said online, before erasing the post later that day. "I feel like I am being lampooned groundlessly. I am afraid something like this will happen again. No. I never met him in person and don't know his contact either."

Jang's management agency Lawon said the rumor was "as absurd as harassment" and that the actress has been concentrating on nothing but TV series "VIP" on SBS premiering in October.

C-JeS Entertainment, which manages Kim, 38, also said the online report of the stars' marriage was "a malicious montage of online photos" and that the agency would track down the person who had first spread the rumor online, referring to photos of the two stars used in the report.

An online community said a report at 1:40 a.m. said Jang and Kim would marry in November after having dated for seven years. The report was deleted shortly after.
