A star-studded lineup has been confirmed for Hong Sisters’ upcoming drama “Hwan Hon” (romanized title)!

tvN’s “Hwan Hon” is a fantasy romance drama taking place in the fictional Daeho nation, a country that does not exist in history or on the maps. The story follows the main characters whose fates become twisted due to magic that switches people’s souls. The word “Hwan Hon” refers to this soul switch.

The upcoming drama is written by hit screenwriter duo Hong Sisters, known for dramas including “My Girl,” “You’re Beautiful,” “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,” “The Greatest Love,” “Master’s Sun,” “Hotel Del Luna,” and more. The drama will be directed by Park Joon Hwa of “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.”

Lee Jae Wook will play the sophisticated yet troublesome young master Jang Wook of the Jang family within Daeho nation. He is a character who has a tragic background, with the entire nation talking about the secret of his shocking birth. Jang Wook expresses his dissatisfaction at the world with anger, but he returns to the proper path in life after somehow meeting the unrivaled assassin Mu Deok Yi (Jung So Min). Viewers are looking forward to Lee Jae Wook’s transformation into a character who seems cool and indifferent on the outside but is burning with fiery mischievousness on the inside.

Jung So Min will take on the role of Mu Deok Yi, a great assassin stuck in the world’s weakest body. Mu Deok Yi has a charismatic soul but also has a body that cannot keep up with her spirit. She becomes Jang Wook’s attendant and secret mentor who teaches Jang Wook in a brutal manner, raising anticipation for their chemistry as teacher and pupil. Jung So Min has previously captivated viewers in various genres including romance and comedy.

Minhyun will play the role of the genius prince Seo Youl of the Seo family. He has everything from literary and martial arts skills to a noble personality and appearance, but he has no desires or a sense of reality. However, he harbors feelings of pure love towards a secret girl. Having starred in the musical “Marie Antoinette” and the drama “Live On,” viewers are looking forward to Minhyun’s stable acting as Seo Youl.

Shin Seung Ho will star as the petty and mischievous crown prince Go Won of Daeho nation. Go Won is aiming to be a generous and gentle king, but after Mu Deok Yi sees through him to his ill-tempered and humane nature, Go Won only reveals his true feelings in front of Mu Deok Yi. Shin Seung Ho made his debut through the hit web drama “A-TEEN,” and he garnered the public’s attention through his performance in Netflix’s “D.P.”

Yoo Joon Sang will play Park Jin, the head of Song Rim, which is the largest corporation in Daeho nation. With his great charisma and thorough leadership, he is a natural leader who receives great respect from young magicians. However, he is always concerned because Jang Wook, the son of his close friend who he practically considers as his own son, does not follow the path he wants him to. Park Jin also only shows his faults in front of Kim Do Joo, the sole person who knows about his embarrassing dating history.

Oh Na Ra will take on the role of the magnanimous Kim Do Joo, the housekeeper of the Jang family who wields great influence in the household. Kim Do Joo takes care of everything within the Jang family household, and she is broad-minded and strong, but she is weak for Jang Wook.
