Lee Joon impressed with his detailed acting in expressing the emotions of Lee Tae, the king of Joseon, who is fighting to survive in the cutthroat world of palace intrigue. Kang Han Na put her own stamp on her character as the free-spirited Yoo Jung.

Jang Hyuk showed off his charisma as Park Gye Won, the first vice-premier and the real head of power in Joseon, while Park Ji Yeon walked a fine balance between good and evil as the elegant and ambitious queen dowager Choi Ga Yeon.

At the end of the script reading, Lee Joon said, “I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m really excited.” Kang Han Na said, “I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of new historical drama will result.” Jang Hyuk said, “We’ll greet viewers with a very exciting story,” and Park Ji Yeon said, “Please show your love and support for ‘Red Heart,’ which will draw you in with every episode.”

“Red Heart” is directed by Yoo Young Eun and written by Park Pil Joo. It will air after the end of the upcoming romance drama “Crazy Love.”
