Kang Hoon Joins Ahn Hyo Seop And Jeon Yeo Been In Talks For Korean Remake Of “Some Day Or One Day”

Kang Hoon may be joining Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Been in “Come to Me” (literal title), the Korean remake of “Some Day or One Day”!

On February 9, a source from the entertainment industry stated, “Kang Hoon will be joining the new drama ‘Come to Me.'”

In response to the reports, a representative of Kang Hoon’s agency npio Entertainment stated, “He has received an offer to star in [the remake of] ‘Some Day or Ordinary Day,’ and he is reviewing the offer.”

The original Taiwanese drama revolves around a 27-year-old woman named Huang Yu Xuan (Alice Ke) who longs for Wang Quan Sheng (Greg Han), the love of her life. One fateful night, Huang Yu Xuan is hit by a car, and when she regains consciousness, she sees a man she believes to be Wang Quan Sheng sitting by her hospital bedside. However, she realizes she is now a high school student named Chen Yan Ru in the year 1998 and no longer a 27-year-old woman, and the man by her bedside is not her boyfriend but actually a schoolmate named Li Zi Wei.

For the upcoming remake, Kang Hoon is in talks to play Patrick Shih‘s character Mo Jun Jie. The original drama already received much love in Korea, drawing even more anticipation for the remake. Currently, Ahn Hyo Seop is in talks to play Wang Quan Sheng and Li Zi Wei, while Jeon Yeo Been has been offered the roles of Huang Yu Xuan and Chen Yan Ru.

After making his debut through a short film in 2009, Kang Hoon starred in dramas such as “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” and “You Are My Spring.” Most recently, he impressed with his acting in the hit drama “The Red Sleeve,” which landed him the title of Best New Actor at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards.
