“Why Her?” Ratings Rise For 2nd Episode As “Cleaning Up” Premieres + “Doctor Lawyer” Falls

SBS’s “Why Her?” is on the rise!

On June 4, the new mystery romance drama starring Seo Hyun Jin and Hwang In Yeop enjoyed an increase in viewership for its second episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest broadcast of “Why Her?” scored an average nationwide rating of 6.5 percent.

Meanwhile, MBC’s new drama “Doctor Lawyer”—which airs in the same time slot as “Why Her?”—fell to an average nationwide rating of 4.2 percent for its own second episode.

Over in the cable network realm, JTBC’s remake of the British series “Cleaning Up” premiered to a relatively quiet start. The new drama starring Yum Jung Ah, Jun So Min, and Kim Jae Hwa scored an average nationwide rating of 2.7 percent for its first episode—a result relatively similar to its predecessor “My Liberation Notes” (the drama that previously aired in its time slot), which premiered to a nationwide average of 2.9 percent.

tvN’s hit drama “Our Blues” stayed strong with an average nationwide rating of 10.2 percent for its latest episode, which took first place in its time slot across all channels.

MBC’s “From Now On, Showtime!” scored an average nationwide rating of 2.7 percent for the night, while tvN’s “Sh**ting Stars” maintained its average rating of 1.3 percent from the night prior.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “It’s Beautiful Now” continued its streak as the most-watched program of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 21.2 percent.
