“Welcome To Samdalri” Premieres To Strong Ratings As “Perfect Marriage Revenge” Heads Into Finale On All-Time High

 

As two beloved dramas winds to a close, another is getting off to a strong start!

On December 2, MBN’s “Perfect Marriage Revenge” achieved its highest viewership ratings yet ahead of its series finale. According to Nielsen Korea, the penultimate episode of the revenge-romance drama scored an average nationwide rating of 2.9 percent, marking a new personal record for the show.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s new romance drama “Welcome to Samdalri” premiered to promising ratings. The first episode of the series earned an average nationwide rating of 5.2 percent, beating the premiere ratings of its predecessor “Strong Girl Namsoon” (the drama that previously occupied its time slot).

With just one episode left to go, tvN’s “Castaway Diva” scored an average nationwide rating of 8.1 percent ahead of its own series finale.

KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War,” which shares a time slot with “Castaway Diva,” rose to a new all-time high of 8.4 percent for its latest episode.

MBC’s “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” earned an average nationwide rating of 6.4 percent for its fourth episode, while SBS’s “My Demon”—which airs in the same time slot—scored a nationwide average of 4.0 percent for its own fourth episode.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Live Your Own Life” continued its streak as the most-watched show of Saturday, scoring an average nationwide rating of 16.6 percent for its latest episode.
