In their latest video, released February 24, SM’s co-CEOs Lee Sung Su and Tak Young Jun outline the agency’s artist plans for SM 3.0 and answer fan questions.

Regarding fan inquiries about SM’s protection of their artists, the executives introduce a four-step plan that offers both short-term and long-term solutions.

Next, the co-CEOs elaborate on how SM 3.0 affects their artists and promotions. In addition to better disclosure and execution of schedules, the executives promise evenly distributed content, as well as a change to the NCT system.

On SM’s artist activity plan for the first half of 2023, there includes studio albums for SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, NCT, and more, as well as a mini album for aespa. The agency also has plans for various solo/unit releases, including Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, EXO’s Baekhyun, Suho, D.O., and Chen, and many more. The 2023 outline also highlights numerous world tours for the majority of SM’s current groups.

In 2023, SM will debut NCT Tokyo, which will be the group’s final expansion. Following the debut of this group, NCT’s “infinite expansion” will come to an end and the agency will focus on supporting the current members.
