Upcoming Netflix drama “Daily Dose of Sunshine” has shared a new poster and trailer!

Based on the webtoon titled “Morning Comes to Psychiatric Wards Too” and the real-life experiences of a psychiatric nurse, “Daily Dose of Sunshine” tells the story of nurse Da Eun as she meets people with wounded hearts at the psychiatric ward.

Park Bo Young will play the role of Jung Da Eun who experiences personal and professional growth, unfazed by her struggles at work after being transferred from internal medicine to the mental health department and caring deeply about her patients. Meanwhile, Yeon Woo Jin will play the role of Dong Go Yun, a proctologist with a quirky personality who finds himself smiling when looking at Da Eun’s pure actions.

Starring alongside Park Bo Young and Yeon Woo Jin are Jang Dong Yoon in the role of Jung Da Eun’s best friend Song Yu Chan and Lee Jung Eun as Song Hyo Shin, the head nurse of the Mental Health Department at Myung Shin University Hospital.

The released poster depicts Jung Da Eun standing at the nurses’ station of Myung Shin University Hospital’s Mental Health Department with a big smile on her face.

The trailer begins with head nurse Song Hyo Shin giving nurse Jung Da Eun a tour of the psychiatric ward on her first day at work. As Song Hyo Shin takes Da Eun around, she is seen explaining, “Unlike other wards, the psychiatric ward does not even have curtains, so our mornings start earlier than in other wards.”

Viewers are then given a glimpse of nurse Da Eun’s encounter with different patients. After switching from internal medicine to the mental health department, she has to adjust to her new daily routine. She tries to approach her patients more sincerely than anyone else, but she is still a little lacking due to the fact that her new department is so different from what she is used to.

In one scene, a frustrated Da Eun is seen saying, “I don’t know what I should be doing to make them get better.”

Another scene shows proctologist Dong Go Yun admiring Da Eun’s diligence as she goes about attending to her patients. Meanwhile, Da Eun’s best friend Song Yu Chan asks Da Eun how her first day at work was as they walk home together.

More scenes give viewers a glimpse of the hectic job of medical staff working in the psychiatric ward as the trailer concludes with the question, “Can we shine again?” and the response, “Soon enough, morning light will shine.”
