Watch: Na In Woo Senses That Something Special Is Coming Before Seohyun’s Arrival In “Jinxed At First” Teaser

KBS2’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Jinxed at First” shared its first teaser!

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Jinxed at First” is a fantasy romance drama about what happens when a poor, unlucky man, who has accepted his unfortunate fate, meets a goddess of fortune, who jumps out into the unknown to undo a curse despite having been hidden away by a chaebol family. Na In Woo will be playing Seodong Market’s fish seller Gong Soo Kwang who has a special jinx, and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun will be playing Seul Bi who has the special ability of seeing the future of the person she touches.

In the new teaser, Gong Soo Kwang is sprayed with salt as soon as he arrives at the market. Despite this sudden onslaught, Gong Soo Kwang calmly responds by catching the salt as if he is accustomed to such events. His daily life is riddled with bad luck such as when his toothbrush snaps in half while brushing his teeth and his car unexpectedly breaks down. Gong Soo Kwang mutters to himself, “It feels like something special is coming.”

An innocent and curious-looking Seul Bi enters the scene, touching everything in the unfamiliar office with great fascination as if she is seeing ordinary items for the first time in her life.

Despite the pouring rain, Seul Bi arrives at the market with a bright yellow umbrella and runs to find Gong Soo Kwang’s fish shop. Finally finding him, Seul Bi cheerfully declares, “Nice to see you, Gong Soo Kwang!” raising anticipation for their heart-fluttering chemistry.

The production team shared, “The first teaser piques viewers’ curiosity with the contrasting natures of Gong Soo Kwang, who struggles with all sorts of hardships as an icon of misfortune, and Seul Bi, who is the goddess of fortune. The two who are in complete opposite ends of a situation will meet, so please show lots of interest for the fantasy romance between Gong Soo Kwang and Seul Bi and how they will change each other’s lives.”
