The highly anticipated series “Blood Free” has unveiled its first teaser!

“Blood Free” is a suspense thriller about Yoon Ja Yoo (Han Hyo Joo), the CEO of the genetic engineering enterprise BF that opens a new era of artificially cultured meat in 2025, and Woo Chae Woon (Joo Ji Hoon), a retired officer-turned-guard who deliberately approaches her, as they get swept up in a series of incidents and a mysterious death.

The teaser kicks off by unveiling a new era of artificially cultivated meat as BF’s CEO Yoon Ja Yoo remarks, “Humanity is an imperfect dominant species. To become perfect, we must break free from the chains. Humanity must be liberated from the food chain.”

In the ensuing scenes, viewers witness chaotic protests with both Yoon Ja Yoo and Woo Chae Woon taking center stage. The former military officer-turned-personal bodyguard Woo Chae Woon is then shown aiming a firearm at someone, followed by a massive explosion.

Ending with the impactful statement, “The best technology I know has always come in the form of weapons,” uttered by Woo Chae Woon, along with the intriguing tagline “The era of artificial cultivation meat: catastrophe or blessing,” the teaser leaves viewers intrigued about the deeper themes explored in the series.
