Upcoming MBC drama “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” has unveiled a new teaser!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” is a time-slip romance drama about the contractual marriage between bachelor Kang Tae Ha (Bae In Hyuk) and Park Yeon Woo (Lee Se Young), who has traveled to modern day from 19th century Joseon.

The newly unveiled teaser provides a delightful glimpse of the humorous first encounter between third-generation chaebol Kang Tae Ha and 19th-century Joseon girl Park Yeon Woo after the latter mysteriously wakes up in the present. She narrates in the background, “I remember this face well,” as she attempts to touch Kang Tae Ha’s face, only to have him respond by calling his secretary to intervene.

The subsequent scene captures Park Yeon Woo’s shocked reactions as she navigates the peculiarities of the modern world. Her astonishment ranges from observing a young couple engaged in public displays of affection and savoring the unforgettable taste of a chocolate pie snack to her entertaining attempts at entering a car and her curious exploration of an MRI machine.

The teaser climaxes as Park Yeon Woo bids Kang Tae Ha farewell with a declaration, “Goodbye. I am returning to Joseon,” and dramatically jumps into a swimming pool while clutching a vibrant branch of pink flowers. Kang Tae Ha’s baffled expression as he watches Park Yeon Woo and her comical struggle in the water crying out, “Save me,” adds a delightful comedy to the story.

The teaser takes a twist when Park Yeon Woo declares, “Fate, I believe in it,” followed by Kang Tae Ha’s daring rescue of Park Yeon Woo from danger. The teaser concludes with Park Yeon Woo’s resolute proclamation, “I will do everything I can. Because you’re my husband,” as she warmly embraces Kang Tae Ha, leaving viewers wondering about the lengths to which Park Yeon Woo will go for her husband in this modern-day setting.
