“The Uncanny Counter 2” Rated Most Buzzworthy Drama + Namgoong Min Tops Actor List

 

tvN’s “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” and MBC’s “My Dearest” were the most buzzed-about dramas of the week!

This week, the second season of “The Uncanny Counter” rose to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

Namgoong Min—the star of MBC’s new romance drama “My Dearest”—rose to No. 1 on the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members this week. “My Dearest” also climbed to No. 2 on the list of buzzworthy dramas, while Namgoong Min’s co-star Ahn Eun Jin jumped to No. 4 on the actor list.

Meanwhile, “The Uncanny Counter 2” star Jin Sun Kyu made the list of buzzworthy drama actors at No. 9.

TV Chosun’s “Durian’s Affair” rose to No. 3 on the drama list in its final week on air, with star Park Joo Mi taking No. 6 on the actor list.

tvN’s “My Lovely Liar” ranked No. 4 on the drama list this week, while leads Kim So Hyun and Hwang Minhyun came in at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively in the actor rankings.

In its first week on air, JTBC’s new comedy thriller “Behind Your Touch” debuted at No. 5 on the drama list, with leading lady Han Ji Min also entering the actor list at No. 5.

SBS’s “The First Responders 2” took No. 6 on this week’s drama list, while star Son Ho Jun climbed to No. 7 on the actor list.

SBS’s new drama “The Killing Vote” debuted at No. 8 on the drama list, while KBS 2TV’s new drama “Elegant Empire” entered the list at No. 10.

Finally, while the drama list only includes series airing on broadcast television, the newly integrated actor list includes cast members from OTT shows—and Moving” star Go Yoon Jung ranked No. 8 on this week’s list, while “D.P. 2” star Jung Hae In rounded out the top 10.
