"The Roundup: Punishment" Becomes Fastest Film Of 2024 To Surpass 9 Million Moviegoers

“The Roundup: Punishment” remains a runaway hit at the box office!

On May 10, the Korean Film Council announced that as of 7:30 a.m. KST that morning, “The Roundup: Punishment” had officially reached a total of 9,007,218 moviegoers at the Korean box office. The film was originally released on April 24, meaning that it took less than 17 days to surpass 9 million moviegoers.

“The Roundup: Punishment” has now become the fastest film in the entire “The Outlaws” series to hit the 9 million mark, outpacing both “The Roundup” (which took 20 days) and “The Roundup: No Way Out” (21 days).

Additionally, “The Roundup: Punishment” is now the fastest film released in 2024 to reach the milestone, overtaking the hit occult film “Exhuma” (which took 24 days to hit the 9 million mark earlier this year).
