“Taxi Driver” Officially Announces Return With Confirmation Of Cast For 2nd Season

SBS’s “Taxi Driver” has confirmed its cast for Season 2!

“Taxi Driver” is about a mysterious taxi service that delivers justice and revenge on behalf of victims who cannot get help from the law.

On June 9, SBS stated, “The Friday-Saturday drama ‘Taxi Driver’ that received great love from viewers will come back with a second season. The drama’s main characters Lee Je Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram, who play the 5 members of the Rainbow Taxi team, have all joined, and we will officially begin production in aims of airing in the first half of next year.”

Previously, it was announced that Esom will not be returning for the second season due to scheduling conflicts.

Lee Je Hoon will return for the lead role as Kim Do Gi, the main player of Rainbow Taxi’s revenge missions. Kim Eui Sung will once again play leader Jang Sung Cheol of the Rainbow Taxi team. Fans are excited to see Pyo Ye Jin play Ahn Go Eun, the IT specialist and the hacker of the team, once more, and Jang Hyuk Jin and Bae Yoo Ram will deliver refreshing laughter to the small screen with their roles as the engineering duo Choi Kyung Goo and Park Jin Uhn, respectively.

The production team of “Taxi Driver 2” remarked, “We are fully prepared to present a more fun and in-depth Season 2 so that we can repay you for your love for Season 1. We will come back with an exciting drama where you can check the true value of a caper story. Please show ‘Taxi Driver 2’ lots of interest and anticipation.”

“Taxi Driver 2” will air in the first half of 2023.
