Get ready for a tense reunion between Lee Byung Hun and Shin Min Ah on tvN’s “Our Blues”!

“Our Blues” is a new omnibus-style drama set in Jeju Island that tells the sweet, sour, and bitter life stories of a diverse array of characters. In addition to Lee Byung Hun and Shin Min Ah, the star-studded cast includes Kim Woo Bin, Han Ji Min, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, Kim Hye Ja, Uhm Jung Hwa, and more.

Shin Min Ah stars in the drama as Min Sun Ah, a wife and mother who is struggling with depression, while Lee Byung Hun plays Lee Dong Suk, a salesman born and raised in Jeju who used to have feelings for her. However, things ended on a bad note between them seven years ago, when Lee Dong Suk kissed Min Sun Ah and then realized that she didn’t return his feelings after all. Heartbroken, Lee Dong Suk lashed out at her by asking angrily, “Is someone like me not allowed to like you?”

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Min Sun Ah and Lee Dong Suk run into each other for the first time in seven years after she makes her way down to Jeju—and there’s practically a chill in the air with how icy things are between them.

However, in sharp contrast to their strained dynamic in the present, other photos from seven years ago reveal just how close and happy the duo used to be in the past. The radiant smile on Min Sun Ah’s face as the two of them have fun at karaoke makes it all the more heartbreaking that she is now so deep in the throes of depression.

Not only that, but the drama will also depict Sun Ah’s arrival in Jeju, which will shake up the entirety of Pureung Village.
