SEVENTEEN And TXT Earn New RIAJ Platinum Certifications In Japan

The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!

SEVENTEEN’s new Korean mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” received an official triple platinum certification for over 750,000 units shipped in Japan, making it the group’s second Korean album and fourth album overall to earn the distinction.

According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units shipped and platinum at 250,000.

Meanwhile, TXT’s new Korean album “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL” was certified platinum for over 250,000 units shipped in Japan, making it their second Korean album and fourth album overall to go platinum in the country.
