SBS Previews 2022 Drama Lineup Including “Taxi Driver” 2 And Writer Kim Eun Hee’s New Project

SBS has unveiled a preview of their upcoming 2022 drama lineup!

On December 9, SBS held a showcase targeted toward advertisers for their 2022 TV program lineup. One of the most anticipated segments of the showcase was their drama lineup, as SBS dramas have recently been on a hot streak in terms of viewership ratings and buzz.

SBS’s first drama of 2022 will be “Those Who Read Hearts of Evil” (literal translation), starring Kim Nam Gil, which will begin airing in January. Also scheduled for the first half of 2022 are Seo Hyun Jin and Hwang In Yeop’s “Why Oh Soo Jae?“, Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Sejeong’s “A Business Proposal,” and Lee Joon Gi and Kim Ji Eun’s “Again My Life.”

SBS also confirmed that Lee Je Hoon’s hit drama “Taxi Driver” would be coming back for a second season in 2022.

It was also announced that writer Kim Eun Hee, the writer behind dramas like “Signal,” Netflix’s “Kingdom” series, and most recently “Jirisan,” was returning to SBS after eight years with a new project. Her last drama at SBS was Son Hyun Joo and Park Yoochun’s “Three Days” in 2014. She had previously written the SBS dramas “Sign” and “Phantom.” In recent years, she has worked for tvN (“Signal,” “Jirisan”) and Netflix (the “Kingdom” series).

A source from SBS later clarified, “We are currently in positive negotiations for Kim Eun Hee’s new project in 2022.”
