Part 1 Of “My Dearest” Ends On Its Highest Ratings Yet

MBC’s “My Dearest” soared to its highest viewership ratings yet for its Part 1 finale!

The popular historical romance drama starring Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin is slated to air in two parts: after wrapping up Part 1 on September 2, the series will return with Part 2 in October.

According to Nielsen Korea, “My Dearest” hit a new all-time high in viewership for the final episode of Part 1. The broadcast scored an average nationwide rating of 12.2 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all channels and setting a new personal record for the drama.

“My Dearest” also earned its highest ratings yet among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 3.6 percent.

Meanwhile, SBS’s “The First Responders 2”—which airs in the same time slot as “My Dearest”—climbed back up to an average nationwide rating of 6.5 percent ahead of its final week.

tvN’s “The Uncanny Counter 2,” which has just one episode left to go, fell to an average nationwide rating of 3.7 percent ahead of its finale.

Despite a dip in its viewership ratings, JTBC’s “Behind Your Touch” took first place in its time slot across all cable channels with a nationwide average of 5.5 percent for its latest episode.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” achieved its highest ratings to date for a Saturday (when its ratings have typically been lower compared to Sundays), remaining the most-watched program of the entire day with an average nationwide rating of 22.7 percent.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of “My Dearest”!
