JTBC’s “Doctor Slump” has shared a heartbreaking glimpse of its upcoming episode.

“Doctor Slump” tells the love story of two former rivals who reunite and unexpectedly become each other’s light during the darkest period of their lives. Park Hyung Sik plays Yeo Jung Woo, a star plastic surgeon whose thriving career suddenly falls into danger due to a strange medical accident, while Park Shin Hye plays Nam Ha Neul, a workaholic anesthesiologist suffering from burnout syndrome.

On the previous episode of “Doctor Slump,” Nam Ha Neul confronted Min Kyung Min (Oh Dong Min) with her suspicions about his involvement in Yeo Jung Woo’s medical accident. The ending then ended on a shocking cliffhanger, with a truck suddenly crashing into their car.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Nam Ha Neul and Min Kyung Min are both unconscious in hospital beds after their accident.

Meanwhile, a devastated Yeo Jung Woo is wracked with guilt and sorrow, blaming himself for being the reason Nam Ha Neul met with Min Kyung Min—and therefore, in his view, having indirectly caused her to get into a car crash.
