Upcoming MBC drama “Numbers” has shared a relationship chart!

“Numbers,” which marks INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo’s first acting project following his return from the military, is a new drama set against the backdrop of a major accounting firm. In addition to Kim Myung Soo, the drama’s cast includes Choi Jin Hyuk, Choi Min Soo, former MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo, and more.

Kim Myung Soo will star as Jang Ho Woo, the first accountant without a college degree to join the prestigious Taeil Accounting Firm. The drama will follow Jang Ho Woo’s fight for justice and revenge as he tackles all sorts of obstacles at the elite firm.

Choi Jin Hyuk will play the role of veteran accountant Han Seung Jo, a man with a wealthy family, exceptional educational background, and good personality, who is also the only son of the vice president of Taeil Accounting Firm. Choi Min Soo will star as Han Je Gyun, the vice president of Taeil Accounting and Han Seung Jo’s father.

Ahead of its premiere, “Numbers” unveiled a character relationship chart showing the relationships between the characters that make up Taeil Accounting Firm, which serves as the drama’s main backdrop, as well as the partner companies that serve as their primary clients, allowing viewers to grasp how numerous characters are connected at a glance. Based on extensive research, the chart not only enhances the realism by accurately portraying the organizational structure of an accounting firm that could exist in real life but also makes viewers anticipate the performance of the actors including Kim Myung Soo, Choi Jin Hyuk, Choi Min Soo, Yeonwoo, Sungyeol, Kim Young Jae, Bae Hae Sun, and Jung Hae Kyun, who are completely immersed in their characters.

First, attention is focused on the relationship between rookie accountant Jang Ho Woo, veteran accountant Han Seung Jo, and vice president Han Je Gyun, which serves as the centerpiece of the story. In particular, viewers are curious to see how rookie accountant Jang Ho Woo and Senior Manager Han Seung Jo, who will work together for the same goal, will cooperate in the face of injustice. Additionally, tension is increased by the father-son relationship between Han Seung Jo and Han Je Gyun as well as by the relationship between Jang Ho Woo and his mentor senior associate Jin Yeon Ah (Yeonwoo), who expresses interest in him.

Particularly intriguing to viewers is the Taeil Accounting Firm’s organizational chart, which is divided into the Deal department and the Audit department. The Deal department, consisting of vice president Han Je Gyun, Shim Hyung Woo (Sungyeol), Jang Ho Woo, Jin Yeon Ah, Han Seung Jo, and Eun Seok Min (Seo Eun Woo), is in charge of corporate M&A, financial due diligence, corporate valuation, and corporate restructuring while the Audit department lead by Ahn Seung Yeon (Bae Hae Sun) and Kang Hyun (Kim Young Jae) oversees accounting transparency and the accuracy of financial statements. Additionally, to make it feel more realistic, the chart categorizes the staff of Taeil Accounting Firm into associates who have only recently joined the company, senior associates, who have been with the company for about three to five years, managers, senior managers, directors, and then the vice president at the top.

In addition to Taeil Accounting Firm and its affiliated companies Jisan Bank and Sanga Group, the faces of other characters on the chart including the president of Haevit Construction Jang In Ho (Nam Myung Ryul), Ong Cheon Ja (Sung Byung Sook), and Jang Ho Woo’s best friends Song Yeo Jin (Do Yeon Jin) and Gong Hee Sam (Kim Sun Bin) also add to viewers’ anticipation.
