NewJeans, NCT, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, ONEUS, FIFTY FIFTY, BTS, And More Sweep Top Spots On Billboard’s World Albums Chart

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on October 14!

NewJeans’ “Get Up” topped the chart for a 10th non-consecutive week, making it the first K-pop girl group album in history to spend 10 weeks at No. 1. The album also spent its 11th consecutive week on the Billboard 200 at No. 64.

NCT’s full-group album “Golden Age” debuted at No. 2 on this week’s World Albums chart, over a month after its initial release in Korea and on digital platforms. (Although “Golden Age” was originally released in Korea and on digital platforms in August, the physical version of the album was only released in the United States on September 29, pushing back its debut on the U.S. album charts.) The album also entered the Billboard 200 this week.

SEVENTEEN’s first Japanese best-of compilation album “ALWAYS YOURS” debuted at No. 4 on the World Albums chart, followed by Stray Kids’ latest album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” at No. 6 (now in its 18th consecutive week on the chart).

Meanwhile, ONEUS’s new mini album “La Dolce Vita” entered the World Albums chart at No. 7.

FIFTY FIFTY’s new EP “The Beginning” ranked No. 8 in its second week on the chart, while BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” stayed strong at No. 9 in its 69th week.

NCT DREAM’s latest album “ISTJ” took No. 10 in its seventh consecutive week on the chart, trailed by BTS’s J-Hope’s solo album “Jack In The Box” at No. 11 (in its 13th non-consecutive week) and ENHYPEN’s “DARK BLOOD” (in its 19th week).

NewJeans’ debut EP “New Jeans” held steady at No. 13 in its 41st non-consecutive week on the chart, followed by BTS’s Jimin’s solo debut album “FACE” at No. 14 (in its 28th week) and LE SSERAFIM’s “UNFORGIVEN” at No. 15 (in its 23rd week).

Congratulations to all of the artists!
