“My Only One” Ratings Surpass 40 Percent, Soaring To All-Time High

KBS2TV’s “My Only One” has broken past the 40 percent barrier to achieve its highest viewership ratings yet!

According to Nielsen Korea, the January 13 episode of the drama was its most-watched yet, scoring average nationwide ratings of 35.1 percent during its first half and 41.6 percent during its second. Not only did the drama break its own personal ratings record, but the broadcast also marked the very first time that the show’s average viewership ratings surpassed 40 percent.

The last drama to hit the 40 percent mark was KBS 2TV’s “My Golden Life,” which first surpassed 40 percent in November 2017 and later peaked at ratings of 45.1 percent for its series finale in March 2018.

My Only One” stars UEE as a woman whose life is turned upside down when her biological father suddenly appears after 28 years and reveals the reason he had been forced to hide his identity. KBS recently announced that due to its overwhelming popularity, the network will be extending the drama by an unconfirmed number of episodes.
