“My Dearest” Remains No. 1 Most Buzzworthy Drama + Suzy Tops Actor List

 

MBC’s “My Dearest” has successfully defended its title as the most buzzed-about drama of the week!

For the third consecutive week, the popular historical romance drama remained No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

Not only did “My Dearest” top the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its stars also continued to rank high on the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members, where Ahn Eun Jin and Namgoong Min ranked No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.

JTBC’s “Strong Girl Namsoon” held onto its spot at No. 2 on the drama list, and its three leading ladies also stayed strong on the actor list: Lee Yoo Mi came in at No. 5, Kim Jung Eun at No. 7, and Kim Hae Sook at No. 10.

tvN’s “Castaway Diva” rose to No. 3 on this week’s drama list, while star Park Eun Bin entered the actor rankings at No. 6.

tvN’s “Twinkling Watermelon” took No. 4 on the drama list, with stars Ryeoun and Choi Hyun Wook rising to No. 8 and No. 9 respectively on the actor list.

The top 10 TV dramas that generated the most buzz this week are as follows:

While the drama list only includes series airing on broadcast television, the newly integrated actor list also includes cast members from OTT shows—and “Doona!” star Suzy rose to No. 1 this week.

Meanwhile, her co-star Yang Se Jong climbed to No. 4 on this week’s list.
