Mama Fairy And The Woodcutter

tvN’s upcoming drama “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter” has unveiled a relationship chart for its cast of characters.

Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter” is based on the Korean folktale and tells the story of a fairy who has been waiting for her woodcutter husband to reincarnate for 699 years. Played by both Go Doo Shim and Moon Chae Won, Sun Ock Nam is working as a barista when she comes across two candidates that could be her husband: Jung Yi Hyun (Yoon Hyun Min) and Kim Geum (Seo Ji Hoon).

Many of the relationships in the chart have already been revealed. gugudan’s Mina plays Jum Soon Yi, the reincarnated daughter of Sun Ock Nam and the woodcutter – but interestingly, beside her picture on the chart is an unseen brother named Jum Dol Yi.

Ahn Young Mi‘s character, Jo Bong Dae, is listed as having a “part-time employee/employer” relationship with Sun Ock Nam.

The relationships between Sun Ock Nam and the two candidates to be her husband are described in terms of their feelings for one another. Sun Ock Nam and Jung Yi Hyun share “curiosity” and “love/hatred,” while Sun Ock Nam and Kim Geum share “curiosity” and “affection.” Additionally, the relationship between Sun Ock Nam and Kim Geum is labeled “warm-hearted young man.”

Jung Yi Hyun and Kim Geum, meanwhile, have a “co-worker bromance.” Lee Ham Sook, played by Jeon Soo Jin, has an ambiguous connection to Jung Yi Hyun labeled as “Love? Friendship?”

Apart from all these connections are the characters from Gyeryong Mountain (supernatural characters) and the characters from the university where Jung Yi Hyun and Kim Geum work. The supernatural characters are played by Ahn Gil Kang, Kim Min Gyu, and Hwang Young Hee, and are labeled only by their name and age.

The university characters also only have their name and age, but without a photo or actor name to identify them.

Which relationship are you most intrigued about in “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter?”

The drama premieres on November 5 and will be available on Dramacool.
