“Let Me Be Your Knight” Joins Weekend Ratings Battle As “Inspector Koo” And “Young Lady And Gentleman” Hit New All-Time Highs

With more and more dramas airing their premieres, the competition for viewership ratings is getting fierce!

On November 7, both KBS 2TV’s “Young Lady and Gentleman” and JTBC’s “Inspector Koo” achieved their highest ratings to date. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “Young Lady and Gentleman” scored an average nationwide rating of 30.5 percent, making it the most-watched program of any kind to air this weekend.

Meanwhile, “Inspector Koo” scored an average nationwide rating of 2.7 percent for its fourth episode, marking a personal record for the new mystery drama.

SBS’s “Let Me Be Your Knight,” a new idol romance drama starring Jung In Sun, U-KISS’s Lee Jun Young, NU’EST‘s JR, AB6IX‘s Kim Dong Hyun, former Wanna One member Yoon Ji Sung, and Jang Dong Joo, premiered to an average nationwide rating of 2.1 percent.

Over on tvN, “Jirisan” earned an average nationwide rating of 8.9 percent and a peak of 10.1 percent for its sixth episode, marking a significant increase in viewership from its previous episode the night prior. The drama also successfully remained first place in its time slot across all cable channels among all viewers—and first place in its time slot across all channels, including public broadcast networks, among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49 (with whom it scored a nationwide average of 4.6 percent and a peak of 5.2 percent).

Finally, OCN’s “Chimera” also enjoyed a slight rise in viewership, scoring an average nationwide rating of 1.1 percent for its fourth episode.
