Lee Moo Saeng, Hwang Bo Reum Byul, Kim Young Jae, And Park Ho San Join Lee Young Ae In Upcoming Drama

Lee Young Ae’s upcoming drama “Maestra” (literal title) has confirmed the casting of more stars!

tvN’s “Maestra” is based off a French work of the same name that depicts the hardships and growth journey of a female orchestra conductor who does her best to investigate the various mysteries that occur within the orchestra. While conductor Cha Se Eum is bold enough to live like there’s no tomorrow and in a position that many covet, a secret she hides from everyone causes her life to turn upside down.

Last November, Lee Young Ae’s agency confirmed that the actress would star in “Maestra” as Cha Se Eum. On May 4, tvN announced the casting of Lee Moo Saeng, Hwang Bo Reum Byul, Kim Young Jae, and Park Ho San.

Lee Young Ae’s character Cha Se Eum is a passionate former violinist and current orchestra conductor who is known all around the globe as a star in the world of classical music. With her bold and determined personality, Cha Se Eum is an on-stage leader who fascinates performers and audience members.

Lee Moo Saeng will star as investment tycoon Yoo Jung Jae, the chairman of UC Financial who has the impressive ability to see through others.

Hwang Bo Reum Byul has been cast as Lee Ru Na, a rookie member of the Han River Philharmonic Orchestra. Lee Ru Na is an innocently passionate character who works incredibly hard to prove her talent.

Kim Young Jae will portray Cha Se Eum’s husband Kim Pil. While he’s affectionate and thoughtful, a small part of him feels inferior to his wife Cha Se Eum whose career is on a roll. Stay tuned to find out how his inferiority complex affects his relationship with Cha Se Eum!

Last but not least, Park Ho San will star as the cheerful and quick-witted Jeon Sang Do, who is the CEO of the Han River Philharmonic Orchestra. Although the orchestra is in danger, he confidently leads his team with his understanding and love of orchestral music.

“Maestra” is set to air on tvN but the broadcast schedule is still under discussion.
