My Lawyer, Mr. Joe 2″ airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 p.m. KST.
On the cable side of things, tvN’s newcomer “The Crowned Clown” made a splash with its premiere, the highest rated premiere yet in the history of tvN Monday-Tuesday dramas.
The drama recorded an average viewership of 5.7 percent and peaked at 7.5 percent across cable, IPTV, and satellite platforms for No. 1 in its time slot. Within tvN’s target age range of 20-49, the drama pulled an average of 3.3 percent and peaked at 4.7 percent.
“The Crowned Clown” is a remake of the 2012 Korean film “Masquerade,” which starred Lee Byung Hun. In the tvN drama, Yeo Jin Goo plays King Gwanghae, or Lee Heon, who is under threat of assassination. For protection, a look-alike to the king, a clown named Ha Sun, takes the king’s place.
“The Crowned Clown” airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. KST.
