“Knight Flower” Finale Breaks Record For Highest Ratings Of Any Friday-Saturday Drama In MBC History

MBC’s “Knight Flower” made network history with its series finale!

On February 17, the hit action-comedy drama ended on the highest viewership ratings of its entire run. According to Nielsen Korea, “Knight Flower” scored an average nationwide rating of 18.4 percent for its series finale, marking a dramatic 3 percent jump from its penultimate episode the night before.

Not only did “Knight Flower” set a new personal record with its finale, but it also broke the record for the highest viewership ratings of any Friday-Saturday drama in MBC history. (The previous record belonged to “The Red Sleeve,” which ended on a nationwide average of 17.4 percent back in 2022.)

Despite facing stiff competition from “Knight Flower,” SBS’s “Flex x Cop”—which airs in the same time slot—rose slightly to an average nationwide rating of 6.2 percent for the night.

Meanwhile, after a one-week hiatus due to the Lunar New Year holiday, KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War” returned to air on a nationwide average of 8.7 percent, and TV Chosun’s “My Happy Ending” returned on an average rating of 2.3 percent.

JTBC’s “Doctor Slump” rose to an average nationwide rating of 5.7 percent for its latest episode, while tvN’s “Captivating the King” fell to an average rating of 4.1 percent.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Live Your Own Life” continued its reign as the most-watched program of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 19.3 percent.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of “Knight Flower” on their new record!
