Kim Seo Hyung Confirmed To Star In New Drama Based On A Japanese Novel

Kim Seo Hyung will be starring in another project!

On April 7, her agency KeyEast Entertainment shared that the actress will be appearing in KT Seezn’s original series “Paper Moon” (literal translation).

“Paper Moon” is based on a Japanase novel of the same name (“Kami no Tsuki”) by Mitsuyo Kakuta. It was made into both a movie and a drama in Japan and received favorable reviews from viewers.

This thriller drama will revolve around a woman named Yoo Yi Hwa, who lived a comfortable life without deprivation and desire. She starts to embezzle her clients’ money while working as a contract employee at a bank, and her ordinary daily life becomes irrevocably twisted.

Kim Seo Hyung will take the role of Yoo Yi Hwa, a housewife with a husband who doesn’t seem interested in her. Feeling bored, she gets a job as a contract employee at a savings bank and gradually regains her confidence. However, she unexpectedly begins to embezzle the VIP customers’ money, causing her to get tangled up in an irreversible catastrophe.

“Paper Moon” will begin producing within this year.

Kim Seo Hyung, who impressed with her detailed acting in dramas like “SKY Castle” and “Mine,” has also been confirmed to star in “It May Be a Little Spicy Today” (literal title) with Han Suk Kyu from the “Dr. Romantic” series.
