Will Kim Nam Gil be able to return to the Criminal Behavior Analysis team in “Through the Darkness”?

Set in the late 1990s, “Through the Darkness” is a drama based on the story of South Korea’s first criminal profiler. Kim Nam Gil stars as Song Ha Young, a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Criminal Behavior Analysis team, while Jin Sun Kyu plays his friend and colleague Guk Young Soo who originally brought him onto the team. Kim So Jin stars as Yoon Tae Goo, the team leader of the Mobile Investigation Unit at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.

Episode 10 shocked viewers with its unexpected ending. Song Ha Young, who endured unimaginable pain after arresting two psychopathic serial killers, got in a car accident. The preview for the next episode showed him in an unconscious state as he was rushed to the operating room.

The production team shared a glimpse of what will happen in the upcoming episode. The first still shows Song Ha Young gripping onto the steering wheel with bloodshot eyes. His face is shadowed with deep pain, and the next photo hints he has ended up in the hospital after a terrible accident. Song Ha Young is covered in blood, and the medical staff urgently tending to him.

At the same time, his colleague Guk Young Soo and mother Park Young Shin (Kim Hye Ok) are waiting outside the surgery room. Guk Young Soo looks anxious and guilty, while Park Young Shin’s eyes are closed out of heavy concern. Will Song Ha Young be able to make it through this crisis?
