Kang Ki Young Is Lee Ji Ah’s Fearless Partner In “Queen Of Divorce”

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Queen of Divorce” has shared another glimpse of Kang Ki Young in his leading role!

“Queen of Divorce” will follow Sara Kim, Korea’s greatest “divorce problem solver” (played by Lee Ji Ah), and eccentric lawyer Dong Ki Joon (Kang Ki Young) as they fearlessly bring justice to wronged spouses.

Notably, Kang Ki Young skyrocketed to fame through another lawyer role: the actor stole hearts in the hit 2022 drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” as the kindhearted senior attorney Jung Myung Seok, who became a mentor to protagonist Woo Young Woo.

In “Queen of Divorce,” Kang Ki Young will transform into the tenacious and fearless lawyer Dong Ki Joon, who will thrill viewers by giving bad spouses the punishment they deserve.

Describing the character of Dong Ki Joon, “Queen of Divorce” writer Jung Hee Sun commented, “When things aren’t working out and people get frantic, he’s a colleague who breathes positive energy [into the team] by reassuring them that things will go well. He’s also a partner who, even when a solution fails, takes his partner’s side and reassures them that they weren’t wrong.”

Praising Kang Ki Young’s performance, the writer enthused, “Actor Kang Ki Young brought style and flair to the fantasy-like character of Ki Joon by adding his own unique charm.”
