Nov 13, 2018

Kang Ho Dong’s new variety show “Amor Fati” has quite the unique concept, featuring celebrities with a variety of backgrounds.
“Amor Fati” is a variety show where single mothers and single fathers who raised celebrities in the spotlight go on a trip with their children. With their celebrity children commenting and watching from a studio, the single parents will seek to recapture their youth and show a new side to themselves.
The Last Empress
Kang Ho Dong will the the main MC, hosting from inside the studio. The first celebrities to go on a trip with their parents are Lee Chung Ah, Heo Ji Woong, Bae Yoon Jung, Brown Eyed Girls’s Narsha, and Ha Hwi Dong.
Lee Chung Ah’s theater actor father became a widower after nursing his ill wife for a long time. Heo Ji Woong’s mother has made appearances on television before, notably on “My Ugly Duckling.” Despite being 70 years old, Bae Yoon Jung’s mother still works as a driver. Narsha’s mother took the responsibility of being the head of the household when her daughter was five years old. Ha Hwi Dong’s father raised two children by himself since his 30s.
The five celebrities and their parents will be going on a cruise together. Joining them as tour guides will be Park Ji Yoon and Highlight’s Son Dongwoon.
“Amor Fati” will air on December 9 at 10:40 p.m. KST, after “New Journey to the West 6.”
