Jung Woo And Han Ye Ri Confirmed To Be Judges For Actors Of The Year Awards At 28th Busan International Film Festival

 

Actors Jung Woo and Han Ye Ri are confirmed to be judges for the Actors of the Year awards at the 28th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF)!

The Actors of the Year awards were established in 2014 with the aim of discovering rookie actors who have potential to lead the future of the Korean film industry. One actor and one actress who showcased outstanding performance will be selected among the independent Korean films chosen for the New Currents and Korea Cinema Today Vision categories.

Jung Woo received great attention for his film “Wish” in 2009, and he won Best New Actor at the 47th Grand Bell Awards in 2010 for his performance in the film. Since then, he impressed in numerous projects including “Reply 1994,” “C’est si bon,” “The Himalayas,” “New Trial,” “Next Door Neighbor,” “Hot Blooded,” “Mental Coach Jegal,” and more.

Han Ye Ri also captivated audiences in various films including “As One,” “Worst Woman,” and “The Table” as well as the dramas “Hello, My Twenties!” “The Nokdu Flower,” “My Unfamiliar Family,” and more. She starred in the award-winning film “Minari” and won the Best Actress Award at the 2021 Gold List Awards.

Jung Woo and Han Ye Ri will personally be presenting the Actors of the Year awards at the closing ceremony for the 28th BIFF.

The 28th Busan International Film Festival will be held at the Busan Cinema Center from October 4 to 13.
