Jung Il Woo Becomes PR Ambassador For National Museum Of Korea

On December 3, Jung Il Woo attended the opening ceremony of 110th anniversary of National Museum of Korea. In line with the celebration of the founding of South Korea’s representative museum, a special exhibit was held.

 

Additionally, the actor was also appointed as the official public relations ambassador for the National Museum of Korea for two years.

 

Selected in consideration of his strong engagement through dramas, the actor was appointed as a PR ambassador. Jung has a strong following from foreigners such as young people in Southeast Asia.

In related news, Jung will lead SBS’ upcoming historical drama Haechi (working title). Eyeing broadcast date in February 2019, the actor will join Go Ara and Kwon Yul in the said project.

 

Suiting up for another prince role, Jung Il Woo is set to portray Prince Lee Geum, an innate genius, who chooses to live a life of noble existence. In Korean history, Prince Lee Geum is the son of King Sukjong and Consort Choi, who became the future King Yeongjo.

 

Haechi will be the fourth period drama for Jung Il Woo after The Return of Iljimae, Moon Embracing the Sun, and The Nightwatchman’s Journal. It will also be his third role as a prince.

 

Prior to his military enlistment, his last K-Drama project was Cinderella with Four Knights.
