“The Killing Vote” has shared stills from its upcoming episode!

Based on a popular webtoon, “The Killing Vote” asks the question “What is your idea of justice?” and delves into the concept of a nationwide death penalty vote against vicious criminals who deftly manage to escape the law’s blind spots. The drama highlights the story of a mysterious figure known as “Gae Tal” (dog mask), who executes the death penalty depending on the results of a vote, and the police who are pursuing them.

Park Hae Jin plays Kim Moo Chan, the head of Team 1 of the regional investigation unit at the Southern Provincial Police Agency. Lim Ji Yeon plays the role of Joo Hyun, a fifth-year lieutenant at the Cyber Security Bureau of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Park Sung Woong stars as Kwon Suk Joo, a long-term prison inmate who turned himself in after personally killing the culprit who sexually assaulted his eight-year-old daughter.

Spoilers

Previously in “The Killing Vote,” while Kwon Suk Joo was in prison, a national death penalty vote was held, and his “No. 1 fan,” Lee Min Soo (Kim Kwon), sent him a letter containing information about the targets of the death penalty vote and how the death penalty would be executed. It was also revealed that Lee Min Soo was actually the one who killed Kwon Suk Joo’s daughter eight years earlier.

The police suspected that Kwon Suk Joo’s No. 1 fan Lee Min Soo was the mastermind behind the death penalty vote, but it turned out that Kwon Suk Joo was actually the real mastermind behind the death penalty vote. A rift developed between Kwon Suk Joo and Lee Min Soo, with Lee Min Soo hijacking the death penalty vote from Kwon Suk Joo. Along with the police’s pursuit of “Gae Tal,” the confrontation between Kwon Suk Joo and Lee Min Soo became the main focus in the second half of “The Killing Vote.”

The released stills depict Gae Tal on a special live show for the death penalty vote. The show’s host Chae Do Hee (Choi Yu Hwa) is captured with a confident facial expression in the studio along with an unidentified man wearing a Gae Tal mask. The special show for the national death penalty vote will be broadcast live, and Gae Tal, a serial killer being hunted by the police, will appear on the show.

How could Gae Tal appear on a live broadcast? What could Gae Tal want to say to the entire nation through the live show? Is the person behind the Gae Tal mask Kwon Suk Joo or Lee Min Soo, or is it someone else entirely? These questions have viewers anticipating the 10th episode of “The Killing Vote.”
