EXO’s Suho Confirmed To Join Hong Ye Ji In New Historical Rom-Com Drama

EXO’s Suho will be starring in the upcoming MBN drama “The Crown Prince Has Disappeared” (working title) together with Hong Ye Ji!

On January 3, SM Entertainment shared that Suho will be joining the new historical rom-com “The Crown Prince Has Disappeared.”

“The Crown Prince Has Disappeared” is a romantic comedy set in the Joseon era about a crown prince who is kidnapped by the woman who is set to become his wife. While on the run for their lives, romance winds up blossoming between them. The drama will be penned by Kim Ji Soo and Park Chul, the writers of the hit drama “Bossam: Steal the Fate,” which set a new record for the highest viewership ratings in MBN history.

Suho, who showcased his acting skills through various projects including the musical “Mozart” and the drama “Behind Your Touch,” is expected to surprise viewers with a new side of him by transforming into the kidnapped crown prince Lee Geon.

Previously in November, Hong Ye Ji was confirmed to play the female lead Choi Myung Yoon with outstanding skills in horseback riding and medicine. Kim Min Kyu is reportedly in talks to play the role of Prince Dosung, the eldest son of King Haejong’s second wife, who gets embroiled in a complicated love triangle between his elder brother Lee Geon and Choi Myung Yoon. Actresses Myung Se Bin and Yoo Se Rye were also previously confirmed to join the cast.

“The Crown Prince Has Disappeared” is set to premiere in the first half of 2024. Stay tuned for more updates!
