Lee Kyu Han has confirmed to join Yeo Jin-Goo for the drama adaptation of 2012 film “Gwanghae: Man Who Became King.”

On November 26, Raemongraein Entertainment reported, “Lee Kyu Han has been casted to appear in tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘The Man Who Became King.'”

Previously, Yeo Jin Goo had confirmed to appear as the drama’s male lead, acting in two roles as the king and the clown. Furthermore, actress Lee Se Young confirmed to play in the role of Yoon So Yoon, the girl with whom both the clown and the king are in love.

In the drama, Lee Kyu Han will play in the role of Joo Hyo Gyul. He was born between a slave mother and a nobleman father, thus putting him in a difficult position when it comes to hierarchy. While known for his exceptional math skills, the title eventually restricts him from climbing up the social ladder.

Meanwhile, tvN’s drama remake “The Man Who Became King” will premiere on November 7, 2019.
