BTS’s Jungkook Becomes 1st K-Pop Soloist To Simultaneously Chart 4 Songs On Billboard Hot 100 For Multiple Weeks

BTS’s Jungkook is enjoying unprecedented success on the U.S. charts!

Last week, Jungkook broke two of PSY’s records on Billboard’s Hot 100, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States. As his new solo title track “Standing Next to You” debuted at No. 5, Jungkook became the Korean solo artist with both the most Hot 100 entries (six to date) and the most top 10 hits (three so far).

To add to those achievements, Jungkook has now become the first K-pop soloist ever to simultaneously chart four songs on the Hot 100 for multiple weeks. For the week ending on November 25, “Standing Next to You” stayed strong at No. 50, while Jungkook’s Kid LAROI and Central Cee collab “Too Much” climbed back up to No. 66, “3D” (featuring Jack Harlow)” came in at No. 84, and “Seven” (featuring Latto) ranked No. 91.

Jungkook is also now the first K-pop solo artist in history to spend multiple weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. After debuting at No. 2 last week, Jungkook’s first solo album “GOLDEN” remained on the chart at No. 6 this week.

Meanwhile, “Standing Next to You” spent its second consecutive week at No. 1 on both Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart and Global Excl. U.S. chart, where Jungkook charted three songs in the top 10 and a whopping 11 songs overall. In addition to “Standing Next to You,” “Seven” made the Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 3, “3D” at No. 10, “Yes or No” at No. 43, “Hate You” at No. 89, “Please Don’t Change” (featuring DJ Snake) at No. 101, “Too Much” at No. 125, “Closer to You” (featuring Major Lazer) at No. 136, “Too Sad to Dance” at No. 145, “Somebody” at No. 155, and “Shot Glass of Tears” at No. 160.

Jungkook also charted seven songs on Billboard’s Global 200 this week: “Standing Next to You” stayed strong at No. 2, “Seven” at No. 6, “3D” at No. 18, “Yes or No” at No. 78, “Too Much” at No. 104, “Hate You” at No. 156, and “Please Don’t Change” at No. 175.

Additionally, “GOLDEN” swept the No. 4 spot on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart (after debuting at No. 1 on both charts last week).

Finally, Jungkook took No. 7 on this week’s Artist 100, making him the first K-pop soloist ever to spend 14 weeks on the chart.

Congratulations to Jungkook on his latest achievements!
