BTOB’s Yook Sungjae Cast As Lead Of Upcoming tvN Drama

Yook Sungjae is gearing up to return as an actor!

On December 19, an industry representative reported that the BTOB member will star in tvN’s upcoming drama “Man Who Bakes Bread” (literal title).
In response to the reports, a source from his agency Cube Entertainment commented, “Yook Sungjae received the offer to star in tvN’s ‘Man Who Bakes Bread’ and is positively considering it.”
Based on a Naver webtoon, the romance drama is about a cat who can transform into a human and the cat’s owner.
Yook Sungjae has been cast as Hong Jo, the cat that sometimes becomes a man. He wants to become human for his owner, and in order to stay by her side, he starts living a double life.
Written by Joo Hwa Mi of “Marriage, Not Dating” and “Introverted Boss,” the drama will be directed by Lee Jong Jae of “100 Days My Prince.” It is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2019 via tvN.
