BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Debuts In Top 2 Of Both Billboard Global Charts With “FLOWER”

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has scored her first solo top 10 hits on Billboard’s Global charts!

On April 10 local time, Billboard announced the top 10 rankings of the latest Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts (for the week of April 15), which both feature Jisoo’s solo debut track “FLOWER” at No. 2! With this achievement, Jisoo is now the third BLACKPINK member to record a top 10 solo hit on each chart.

Both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts began in September 2020 and rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world. While the Global 200 includes data from around the world, the Global Excl. U.S. chart considers data from territories excluding the United States.

On the Global 200, Jisoo took over the No. 2 spot with “FLOWER” garnering 108.7 million streams and 21,000 sold around the world in the first week of its release from March 31 to April 6. This streaming count for “FLOWER” marks the third highest for an artist’s proper debut focus track since the beginning of both Global charts, bested only by Lisa’s “Lalisa” (152.6 million) and Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License” (130.1 million).

For the tracking week of March 31 to April 6, “FLOWER” recorded 103.3 million streams and 16,000 sold outside of the United States, resulting in an impressive No. 2 debut on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.

BLACKPINK has previously achieved top 10 solo hits on the Global 200 in 2021 with Rosé’s “On the Ground” at No. 1 and Lisa’s “Lalisa” at No. 2. These tracks had the same rankings on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, along with Lisa’s “Money” coming in at No. 7. (Jennie’s “Solo” was released in December 2018, prior to the launch of Billboard’s Global charts)

Congratulations to Jisoo!
