MBC’s “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” has shared a bittersweet glimpse of its upcoming episode!

Based on the web novel of the same name, MBC’s “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” is a time-slip romance drama about the contractual marriage between bachelor Kang Tae Ha (played by Bae In Hyuk) and Park Yeon Woo (Lee Se Young), who has traveled to modern day from 19th century Joseon.

Previously on “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract,” Park Yeon Woo learned that on the 100th day of her stay in modern day, she would have a final chance to return to Joseon—and that if she did not, the present-day Kang Tae Ha’s heart would stop, just as it did in his past life.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Park Yeon Woo and Kang Tae Ha spend a meaningful evening together that is both romantic and heartbreaking at the same time.

As they take in the view of the Seoul skyline at night, Kang Tae Ha seems unable to tear his eyes away from Park Yeon Woo—but even as they hold hands and gaze into each other’s eyes, their fond expressions are unmistakably full of sorrow.
